After car trouble leaves her stranded on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, Suzette has no choice but to accept help from the ruggedly handsome stranger on a Harley.
It turns out to be the ride of her life!
Joseph aka City, Owns a tattoo shop with his siblings. A man who lives for the moment, sees an opportunity to score when he passes the blonde bombshell on the side of the road. After a few drinks to loosen her up, City realizes that Suzy is a good girl who’s suppressing her base instincts, and her raw sexuality. An he thinks he’s just the man to bring it out in her. Although he seemed like a big tough guy, once you really get to know him, he was very caring, and even a bit sensitive.
Suzy thinks there’s something wrong with her because of her out of the ordinary sexual desires, so she’s been settling for tamer men and “pickle dicks”, and City seems like he is anything but. After years of making lists and checking them off, it takes awhile for City to get through her layers of defenses, but oh when he does there are fireworks!
This book was well written and flowed easily. The characters, including the supporting cast were well developed with just enough flaws to make them seem real. City is the Alpha male we all want! He’s ready and willing to please you in all the right ways! He’ll protect you with his life, and then smack your ass for putting yourself in a dangerous situation to begin with. Tattooed and pierced in ALL the right places, City is definitely a bad boy with a heart of gold.
Suzy has a habit of getting in her own damn way but she is still so cute and innocent. The only thing that annoyed me about her was that she was such a control freak!
I have to admit this was the first book by Chelle Bliss that I have read and I loved it!! I loved that with every chapter there was an alternate POV it really let you see the story through both characters views. My biggest complaint was that the last few chapters of the book felt as though they were missing something, I felt a little cheated, almost like there was more to the story and we just weren’t going to be clued in. Don’t get me wrong though, I still loved the book and would rate it 5 stars! There is supposed to be a 3rd in the series but it’s about some of the supporting characters. I do hope that City and Suzy will have their own part to play in that book as well though because I just couldn’t get enough of them!
